The major I’m going for is computer engineer (minor software engineer) and most jobs I’ve researched require a lot of experience and I wanna get paid as much as i can coming out of school. I’m wondering if building programs or websites for small companies and having a computer tech job would count as experience? I’d appreciate any helpful answers, thanks.

1) I have reported problems from a few people that my web page looks funny to them. They are using the same IE7 browser as me. It looks fine on my PC. Is there some kind of code, I can use to help my webpage auto adjust or something to make sure it is viewed properly in other people’s browsers?

2) I would really like to work for a company that builds and develops websites, with the hopes of striking out on my own in a different region. What are the minimum requirements most companies look for?

3) Is it possible to make it into a company, if you have no formal schooling but can show the know how to do the work and the willingness to learn? Like an apprenticeship I guess.

I use Yahoo as my host. I have one site built already but I want to change my site so that it is a main page with two website options they can choose from on that main page. Then each button takes them to the respective website. Can you offer any help? Thanks!!!

I am trying to build a laptop, and have found great parts online, but have not yet found any website online that gives you a good selection of barebone laptop models. I would also prefer if the barebone models on the website are towards the cheaper side, and also that the website helps you find a model that supports socket type, type of DDR RAM, graphics card, network card, and SATA/PATA.

I am hoping that there is a helpful and freee place online to expand and build on my almost non-existent Korean language knowledge (I can read hangul pretty well though! ).
