Does anyone know of good companies that build business websites?
I have an offline business that I know needs internet exposure to really kick into high gear. I’ve done my share of research and I can tell already that I don’t want to build the site myself. I don’t have time for that. I also don’t want to spend a fortune having a site built that looks great, but gets little to no traffic. So I’m between a rock and a hard place. I have no real internet experience and I have to trust that whoever I choose to build the site actually knows what they are doing online. I just need a clean professional look. Does anyone know of any reputable companies that build business websites and are successful with promoting local companies?

Site builder at http://www.intuit.com/ who also make Quicken and TurboTax. Worth a try.
Yep, I can suggest a great one…. http://www.ivCity.com
I’m going to be a bit bias though, because I am the designer for that site. I’ve helped lot of people with sites over the years, mostly friends and coworkers. I’m back in college finishing a BS in Mechanical Engineering, but I’ve got lots of spare time I can devote to building you a great site. Since I consider this a hobby, I don’t charge much at all. Can I get you traffic? Here’s one example: my friends site dedicated to demolition derby gets over 1,000,000 hits per month (that’s a lot for a small site), and has for the last year. I would have emailed you, but you didn’t have email enabled. Feel free to shoot me an email (should be located in my profile).
