How can I get a marketing career started in promoting movies, music, and video games?
A friend of mine said that I could own a store that sells movies and soundtracks and stuff like that. That’s a good idea but not what I had in mind. I’m thinking more like promoting a movie that’s coming out in theatres or DVD and Blue Ray and getting paid to do it. Also, I would like to have some connections with famous celebrities along with my marketing career.
I have a Associate of Arts degree in biology and some university experience. I’m changing my major to Business and Marketing Management Technology.

lol, you have a lot to learn my friend. There’s people with Master degree’s in Communications,Marketing,and Business that cant even get a job promoting Movies,CDs, Nightclubs ect.
It takes many years of experience and knowing the right people to get a "dream job" in marketing….
Also, if you dont have a degree in Marketing,Communications or a related field, than work on that first….
There is literally thousands of people out there with degree’s looking for the same kind of job you are, so theres a lot of people more qualified than you if you dont have a college education.
