how do I find an agency which could do marketing research for the company?
I need to find an agency which would create a database of free forums,websites etc. to which we can submit our press releases,articles, ect.

Instead of just submitting the press release to any forums and site, you can collect forum, website links relevant to your industry. In this way many will accommodate you. Getting links from the relevant sites will yield good result. Your site will not only achieve good ranking becos the relevancy but also a good traffic over a period of time.
You can also opt for blog comment. Commenting in blogs will fetch many links as many will provide the link if the content is good.
Many will reject just like that if the same is not relevant to the site. If you are interested I can collect the same for you. I am doing SEO & Link campaign for many sites now.
