How do I know how much people click on certain keywords for yahoo and google?
I am creating a website based business and want to do some research on which keywords get the most clicks and how much I will be paying per click for the sponsored ads for google and yahoo. Is there a website where I can type in a keyword and it tells me how many people type in the keyword for google and/or yahoo? If so, please let me know the link to the site. Thanks!!

I know that Yahoo Search Marketing used to have a tool that would show a list of "related keywords" with search traffic from a prior month; Google AdWords provides a similar tool that shows relative traffic but only in very broad ranges. You can access these tools by using the online interface for each advertising system, but I think you’ll need an advertiser account to do so (which will cost you $5 at Google AdWords and I believe also a small fee at Yahoo SM).
WordTracker is a service that monitors search traffic on a number of "second-tier" search engines (not Google, Yahoo, MSN, or AOL), and provides some search-traffic data for free, and additional information to fee-paying clients. It’s a good tool, but often produces some very strange data.
Note that cost-per-click data is also tracked and offered for sale by several companies, but again it is not consistently reliable, and because both Google and Yahoo have now implemented systems that include "quality" components, the tracking information is MUCH less reliable than it was last year.
In addition, when you bid Pay-Per-Click keywords, you should always be tracking the performance for each keyword separately, to determine the proper "maximum bid amount" that will push profitable transactions to your business. This may be much less than the current top-bid rates, but you may still draw significant traffic at lower bid rates.
