How much would you charge for a Joomla created website?
I’m currently thinking about building websites using joomla, i feel it is a lot less work than creating a website using HTML so how much should i charge for creating them in Joomla?

$50 for hosting and domain name registration is okay, but as for creating and managing the site, this will all depend on the content, how big you expect the site to be and how long you think it will take to create it (the price may also depend on the budget of the client). The Joomla forum has some helpful guides on pricing.
If the client wants a ‘bespoke’ site, then this can be a lot more costly than if they were happy with a ‘Joomla Template’ and changing the branding to suit.
I have used Joomla in the past, but found WordPress a lot easier to customise and manage from a designers point of view. The code has also been cleaner/easier to manage.
Your going to have to sit down and do some ‘sums’, see how long it will take, what’s a good hourly rate for yourself, and additional costs like hosting, domain registration, ongoing maintenance.
