I want to manage my business website?
I own a small business, and my website designer is a cheeto munching bum that never answers my calls. Can anyone recommend a good option for getting set up with a website I can handle entirely on my own?

It used to be the case that you’d have to have a webmaster to update everything for you, but now Content Management Systems (CMS) have taken over because they make it so much easier to make updates yourself.
The problem with most CMS’s that they are difficult to use, usually involving logging into a backend admin system and not being able to preview what you’re editing before it’s been updated.
But, there’s actually a new product released by FusionSquared.com which allows you to update ALL text, images, video and music from the front end of your site, meaning that you can quickly update your site without needing a webmaster.
The best solution is to create your site on WordPress.org. You will need to purchase your own domain (about $10 per year) and hosting (about $5 a month).
I would recommend you hire a blog designer to install and customize your site. Then you can add updates as needed.
Hope that helps
