Is Flickr a reputable website to put my beginner photography?
I don’t have a DSLR, therefore my photos aren’t that spectacular, mostly because I can’t get that much control on the settings with a point and shoot. I really want to become a photographer one day, so I was just wondering if Flickr is a good website to start to add pictures that can be discovered by people and get feedback and advice from professional photographers. Thanks in advance.

im no photographer, but flickr is probably the biggest photo sharing site
Flickr’s ok. You need to lose the attitude that a DSLR will make you a better photographer or make your photographs better.

If your camera is worse quality than the iphone 3gs camera then that excuse might be valid, otherwise realise it’s not so much the equipment as your own ability to handle the equipment.
Flickr is a great website. The community seems to be supportive and friendly.
im a beginner, sort of.. lol and i use it see for yrself — http://www.flickr.com/photos/51865385@N06/4771942716/in/photostream/ =D throw’em out there and see what you get…
Flickr is a great place for begginers! I’m a beginner myself. I just started about 2 months ago. Flickr is great to see what other people think of your photography from others especially experienced photographers! I’ve learned alot about photography and how to better my work through Flickr!
Sure, it’s a great site. You need to join the groups and comment on other people’s photos, as well.
