No there are many website builders on line and many of them are very easy. Try http://www.ebizwebpages.com it works great. Cost about $20 a monht. If you want to earn money from your site check out http://www.Wahrs.net and look at # 3 , this will help you generate income from your webiste.
Good luck
if its a cheap website- use weebly or freewebs both are free. in high school tech classes can explain it better and some colleges like WATC are all about techies . Websites get money because after it gets popular enogh ( through myspace and facebook is easy) companies will want to advertise and they pay you a set price to put ads on your page
No, you do not have to attend college core classes to learn how to make websites. Even dynamic websites can be completed in only a few months time with the average newbie. With proper training and experience, you could be creating great websites in only a few weeks.
It really depends what you want to do with your website. Some websites are used as online stores to sell goods (in the sense of products and services), other sites use forums to attract a community and potential advertisers (advertisements are a major source of income), some give away free ware to attract advertisers as well. If your planning on selling website layouts, then you can also make decent money from that too. Programming the layout also pays pretty well too.
What I suggest you do is learn database programming (MYSQL. Simple programming language that should be mastered in about two months time), PHP for dynamic websites (dynamic websites interact with the viewer/user), and work on your photoshop/gimp skills (graphics and layouts). It may take some time to learn all this, but there are some pretty good tutorials on the web such as w3schools.com, etc.
People can make money from websites by giving away free information that has value, which attracts viewers. Then advertise products for sale, and earn commissions from sales.

You don’t need any special training. Just visit website hosts who make it easy for you to build professional-looking websites, like homestead.com (find it through Google search).
You do not have to attend college to learn how to build a website.
There are many website building programs that come with tutorials.
I bought Site Build It for my website in February. I didn’t know anything about building websites but I already have a site up and running with over 20 web pages.
Site Build It has a tremendous support system and a forum where many people help each other out. It’s great. I love it.
So don’t worry about having to go to school. Just look for a program that has a good tutorial and support system.
