I have recently been passed over for promotion and after pestering the HR Dept to provide some form of explanation why they chose someone just out of university (6 months exp) rather than me (7 years exp) they told me that my psychometric & aptitude tests indicated I was administration not management material. So I need to know (1) how can these tests really be so certain (2) does any one know of any book or website to enable me to get a different result to these tests if I take them in the future?
I am doing business – computer repair, website design, and variety types of training like Microsoft office training or computer training. Until now I have been doing those trainings without giving people any certifications, I mean certificates. I would like to start giving certifications, is this possible? My business is not registered to anything or something like that.

When learning or reading new concepts & formulas, what causes physical pain or a tightness in the brain? Is this the actual development of wrinkles on the cerebrum? Is it a lack of electrolytes, or burning of material, hormone, realignment of brain cells, or the actual feeling caused by rapid firing of the synapses? What causes it? Is it a result of eye strain, lack of blinking more regularly or "hyperfocusing" (actually developing the habit of holding open the eyes while reading new ideas/learning thus not blinking at the risk of losing the train of thought or concept/stream of consciousness? Although I have a well developed short term memory, hyperfocusing helps to take concept from paper/website and commit it quickly to long term memory. Is there any documentation or studies on this? The pain/ache feels like an actual strain or stress that even tightens up the scalp to the point of noticeably more hair loss. Can one take supplements or eat anything besides caffeine? Please help.

I have seen diferent classified sites but payed attention to this one because it has so much to offer from movies to classifieds, bussiness & Website promotions.
What do you think of this site?
Apparently, with all of her ‘great’ stock market & investment advice, she does not even invest in stocks herself. The interview had some intersting things about her own investments. She has less than 1/2 of 1% of her over million of assets in stock! She says that she primarily buys zero coupon munis. And will even chose a lower rate to get AAA ratings.
Now, I dont knock anyone on personal investment choices, but she is fair game as she is supposed to be a fianancial advisor & has repeatedly told her followers, that you need aggressiveness in your portfolio & you should have a certain % of assets in stock. But she has the portfolio of a 85 year old widow taking care of orphans! The article states that she has never realy owned much stocks.
Dont get me wrong, I think she does a half decent job helping folks on her show, but she doesnt even follow her own advice & is called a guru. & I am not bashing her b/c she is a woman. I like some of her advice. Thoughts?

million is less than 1/2 of 1% of million. The article states that, she said she has about million in real estate & about mill in stocks. Yes, mill is a large amount, but not relatively speaking. Also, she is not an analyst, but an advisor, that is a big difference. & your lunch money is safe (today)– I have no where near that amount to invest. I guess my point is, she does not use her own advice to make money, & that is HOW she makes money, by giving advice to others on investing. Kind of hypocritical. I feel its like taking military advice by someone who has read a book about it, but never actually had any experience in it. (That was NOT a Bush joke)
I got it from MSN Money central in the commentary tab today. The article was talking about the NY Times article over the weekend. Maybe she did say that in the Journal, but they did not mention that in this article.

We live in Australia, queensland, sunshine Coast and I cant seem to find any hobby classes to try expect for Scrapbooking and stitching & god knows he wont be into that! So if you know of any places here that have a few classes or even a website with some would be awesome! Please we so need to get out!

I was researching on health insurance, which, in google trends belongs to two categories viz. Health & Insurance. But, the keyword Health Insurance throws very different results in both the categories.
So, how is it that google is able to categorize Health Insurance in both the categories??? On a macro level, i believe what would answer my dilemma is: What is the methodolgy & logic of these categories on google trends???

From 2005 my work history has been in manual labor. My skills range from Carpentry, Demolition, and Blueprint reading, Concrete, Drywall, Cabinet install, Welding & so on.
I would like to get out of doing the above related line of work and get inside of an office style environment. I have enrolled into a local community college. I have taken 3 classes so far which are intro to Linux, intro to website design and intro to adobe CS4. I will be taking a Microsoft word 2007 class this summer.
What would be some quick and easy certifications I could take or study to help open the doors to a new line of work? I will be taking a typing test within the next few days. I was also thinking about taking a CPR class as well.
I know it is hard to get a job without having a work history related to the type of job you are applying for and this is why I am asking this question. I am unsure of what type of work I would like to be doing but at this point in time an entry level job with minimum wage is fine with me. I still plan on going to school for future education.
So what are some quick and easy skills or certifications that I can pick up? Paying for a class is no problem for me at this point in time.

The writer did no research and said he "randomly" selected Itronics to mention in his article because they had an association many years ago with a marketing company that had a pump and dump on it’s client list.
The day after this article was released, Itronics stock plummetted on heavy volume because of this article inferring it’s apump and dump which it definitely is not. I’ve been a shareholder for several years and it’s the furthest stock from a P&D imaginable.
Isn’t this article libelous toward Itronics?
