I am interested in creating a website to promote my work as a writer. I have never had a website before. Is it better to buy a domain name rather than use a free space like google provides or is a google site good for a beginner such as myself? Also any suggestions on where to obtain free or paid domains and web hosting would be appreciated. Thanks

I’m looking into creating a website that will offer free XBoxes, PS3′s, money, etc like those websites you see where you fill out surveys, take offers and earn points to get free things. I know this process may require spending money, but my goal is to earn money from these companies, but I’m not sure exactly where to start. I have good computer skills have a history in building websites. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Let’s say someone is a graphic designer with a degree and experience building basic websites, how long would it take for them to create a site (man hours)?

How about someone who knows a little about computers but has zero experience creating a website, how long would it take that person from learning web design basics to the launch?

I’m trying to get a sense of how long it will really take me (the guy with little experience versus just paying an experienced person to do it right and get it done in a timely manner.

I’m building and creating a website on cats. Part of the information on the website is to help people who want to adopt a cat or get a cat for the first time. In order to help them out, I’m trying to compile a small list of veterinary clinics and shelters in their state just to help them out a little especially if they aren’t sure where to look.

If you could please help me out, I’d definitely appreciate it. All I can give is vet clinics and shelters for Ohio but other states, I’m not sure about.

So, what I need to know is the best:

-Cat grooming places
-Cat boarding places
-Best veterinarians (good experience, decent costs)
-Best shelters to look at in adopting a cat.

I am not a person to just "leave things alone"… But I have this ex-boyfriend which we were super serious. But we both split and got married and have kids. He has contacted me in the past and I have contacted him… We tried to be friends but he claims that he is too hurt by our past that he can’t just be my friend. His wife is super jealous of me and knows how many times him and I have made contact with one another! Well he acted like a complete baby and blamed everything on me. I thought it was a good idea to send him an email and claim that I died, (email from my sister) Well he said all these things, How i was the love of his life and blah blah blah… So like a year later I felt so bad for lying but I thought that was the only way to get over him. So i emailed him and told him the truth. I regret ever even contacting him in the first place. But his stupid wife has really pissed me off. She posted this question on here about me. So I googled her dumb a$$ to find out she has had like 3 paternity test done to see who the father of her kid is??? She is so fake and probably will never amount to anything in life, yet she wants to trash me??? I have been through hell with her so called husband, he has no idea what I went through and now thats its been 10 years later she wants to trash talk me…I am 1400 miles away and me commenting on a picture he posted on the internet, is not my fault you posted it!! I was being nice! Or creating a website with YOUR home address is not my fault… Don’t claim that I’m something that I’m not. I have never called they’re home when HE gave me they’re home number!!! I have been respectful of they’re married and only offered to make peace and move on.They are so stupid and horrible people! I SERIOUSLY cant stand them. My friends finally interoggated me into reading the twilight saga. I didn’t think I’d like it much, but honestly, I didn’t think it was half bad. I mean, I’m not an author or anything, but I seize to see why people continue to adverse her poor literature. What’s wrong with her style of writing?

I really don’t know about this whole anti feminist issue either. ? I read in a forum that, because Bella wants to become immortal with Edward, haters think it’s against feminism. Why would this make you so angry that you’d have make a stupid website such as ; [twilighsucks.com] ? If you hate Twilight so much, why would you waste your time creating a website about it? Haha… as I said, it doesn’t bother me. I just wonder why people are like that.

And lastly, what the hell is wrong with the plot? I understand that disliking the plot is a totally pertinent reason to dislike the books, because obviously not everyone is going to enjoy the books (quote, one man’s trash is another mans treasure). But why is it that you dislike the plot? Explain yourself before simply writing "The plot is gay." Such as this fellow here:

Twilight is an utterly unintelligent novel that I wish I’d never had the misfortune to read. The plot is unimaginative, the writing looked like it could have been written by a four year old and the book should have never been published in the first place. I would like to find a website software to help me create a online store for my wife to get off Ebay. I have some time and learn quickly and also have all kinds of picture and some graphic software to help with the process but know very little about creating a website. Can anyone give any pointers or advice?

I’m not talking about creating one like a Geocities or a similar kind. I’m talking about creating a website from scratch with more advanced stuff.

I was interested in web design, and have been thinking of trying it out. What would that class allow me to do once I am finished. Will it give me the skill and training to design a decent website? Or do you have to take additional advanced classes to do much with it?

I am creating a website and I need the exact code or some instruction in creation of a Cookie.

For my ‘Index.html’ I want my visitors only visit once then move for example to ‘Home Directory’. I want the browser to move the visitor to the directory I want. An example of this would be the Rolex official website. When you visit the website you choose your language for the first time then you’ll move the specified directory. Even if you click back you will not see the language options at the start. To see what I mean please visit:

I am planning on creating a website where I will be promoting a product to sell for some other website, do I need a tax id and a business license? I mean, since I am not using any merchant account, just promoting a product from another website.
