For instance, I have a home-based business that I am trying to market. I offer business support services (i.e. word processing, spreadsheets, filing, presentations) and computer training services (software programs) to businesses. Say for instance a company has been in business for two years, needs help getting their office organized or needs an Office Assistant in general, but doesn’t have the working capital or funds available to pay someone.
I will have them fill out my credit application and require them to provide three trade references. I will contact those trade references to verify their payment history. If they have a satisfactory payment history, I will set them up on an installment billing program. It’s kind of like a credit card but they’ll pay the balance out over a period of say three or four months — depending on the total balance.
The only potential problem that I see is they may not pay. But then again there are companies who would love this type of opportunity and are willing to pay. I am thinking I can increase my client base by doing this.
What do you think?
I only have one client so far, but I did this for a year before I moved here. What I always did was go pick up the projects, or have them ship the to me via UPS or FEX or even regular mail. I do all the work from my home/office, but in some instances I can work from their office.
Let me clarify – when I say I’ve done this before I mean I ran this same exact business out of my home in another state, but didn’t offer installment billing.

Hello… I want to have a business online… the thing is that I do not have a credit card and there are a lot of advertisement in the internet i do not know if it is working or spam…
is anybody can help me?
I’m trying to decide a credit card to apply for – my first one.
I would like a website with information on all the major credit card brands, rates, etc. to help me decide which card is for me.
Please link me to the appropriate websites! I will award 10 points to the best answer. Thank you.
Paypal website and promotions always say that people can pay you, an account holder, using their credit card even if they don’t have a Paypal account themselves. But it looks like they mean that they can pay you by starting a Paypal account themselves. Can anyone really pay you without an account?
? I am 15 years old and want to start my own online business to make money for college. I would like to use the drop shipping method and have the items go through my own website and not Ebay. Is this possible for someone my age? My parents would support me and I would use their credit card, which I am already using for my Pay Pal account. But I need to know if this is legal. If not can I still sell through Ebay?
Thanks!
I was thinking about starting up a business but I need help and I want someone to set it up to where I’ll be guaranteed to have it up and moving. I was wanting to do it online. I need the website to set up orders and payments by money order or credit card. Anybody know of websites that can do it for me automatically even if I don’t know much about HTMLs or building websites?
You want to start your new e-biz but you have no idea how to make it up.Here is a tip that you can commit with.Try using Spyfu to search your keywords.I’m telling you this is the best keyword research tool I have ever seen.Pay Per Click advertising gives you an immediate source of traffic.Since it cost money, people take care to ensure they have the best keywords and are only paying for the ones that drive in the customer with a credit card in hand.
