This is probably a question for statisticans or marketing people but everyone is welcome to try.
I’ll be using this info for a study on how a female teenager impacts an ad throughout her grade and middle school, and teenage life, up to her 18th birthday. Generally, how many people can she pass buzzwords and ads by word of mouth or chatting online or in other formal or informal ways of active communication. Also through subliminal or less obvious ways such as clothes that she wears, car or restaurant or hand bag that she buys, etc. (kind of a fashion statement or lifestyle that she conveys to others without even talking about it).
You have to start from the day a girl is born and then expand it until her 18th birthday. I would like to see which study or formula you chose to base your numbers on (a link to the study, article, etc is ok). We’re talking about people that she knows or have meet and not those that passed by. Thanks.
Thanks for the various responses. True, there’s so many variables but there’s 3 ways to reduce these variables. First, by citing & using any surveys, facts or studies done that will reduce such variable. 2nd, its up to you to decide which variables are important to include & which ones are not so critical to the question or when deriving the answer. 3rd, you will have to decide which of the choices in those variables is more important or will likely contribute to, in this situation or in my question, the likelihood of her passing down buzz words or ads. One example mentioned was does she live in the city or rural area? Basing it on my question, she’ll likely be better off living in city. When I wrote "meet" it can be a first name basis, etc. as long as she is not actively soliciting, like religious groups knocking on doors, girls scouts/Salvation army standing by Walmart doors, etc. My previous prof wont take cash or dinner. There’0 prize for a very solid answer. Ebay: CASEY1EC1J
Sorry, I ran out of space. Our previous professor is willing to help but he wont take money or dinner. So we dont ask him too often. Your answer will be added to what we already have and we’re also trying to make sure we also cover other areas that we may have missed. Anyway, I dont know how to offer money here but here it goes… there’s 0 prize for the best and realistic (meaning as close as we can get) answer. Please show me your methodologies, studies or surveys used, etc. My ebay id will show my reliability and I will pay by Paypal if the winner gives me his/her email address to send the money. This is the only way, unless you have other suggestions of sending the prize money. Enjoy
