I am in Pennsylvania. I have been at my job for almost 5 months. I was hired as an Administrative Assistant and the job was very laid out and I was keeping up fine. Then my boss started throwing more things at me that I’m not qualified to do. Such as accounts payable. Sometimes I make mistakes and then he threatens my job. I am not an accountant and wasn’t hired as such. Then, he pulled me into his office on 2 occasions and told me that in 2 weeks he would reevaluate me and let me know if I was going to keep my job, but every reason he said was so confusing that thinking about it now, I don’t even know why he did it. Then, recently, he came to me and asked if I knew how to make a website. I told him I had ONE coding class and knew some basics. He fires his web designer and then tells me to design this website. I gave it my all and when I couldn’t get any further as I am not a web designer, wasn’t hired as one and never trained to be one, I told him that I did the best I could do. I told him that I am ill equipped to design a web site. He then told me that I needed to get it done within an hour or two or he’ll take me off the job because I’m not applying myself. I’ve given this job 100% of my effort, but one day he says it’s not good enough and the next I’m so smart he doesn’t know what he’d do without me. he is trying to force me to do this site and yet again, subtly threatened my position with this very small Nationwide branch of 6 people. I am walking on eggshells, I’m being forced to perform duties that I am not equipped to perform, and I"m being subtly threatened when I tell him that I can not do it. Also, I am being asked to Lie in regard to another "business" he runs out of his nationwide office. Nationwide will not allow him to agent their business if he’s running something else, so I’m am to say that this large map with thumbnails in it is his vacation destinations while it is actually all the places he insures. Is this valid reason to quit my job and get unemployment?

I am an artist and I wanted to make a website to showcase and sell art and portraits etc. I just wanted to know whats the best place that will help me learn how to make a website for a beginner..Thanks

Is it possible to create a website without having a knowledge in computer languages? Are books teaches you how to make a website by using computer languages?

Well I want to learn how to make websites and like that whole process. I am in high school so I am not going to college quite yet. I would like to take the classes at a college or something, though. My high school doesn’t offer courses like that. But my question is what is the name a college would use as the class name, like what is a more specific name for something like a "how to make a website" class?

…what exactly is that college major called?

I don’t want to concentrate on fixing computers..I want to know how to build online websites with the codes from scratch. Basically how the guy from eBay had a great idea and knew how to make a website and "system"…is that what you call it?

I’m earning my ADN in Nursing.but I am considering different Bachelors degrees. I don’t even know what that degree would be called.
I don’t want this degree to go work for someone..I want to make my own website and run it.

I am trying to expand a business that i have and need someone with experience that knows how to make a website that i have full control nd can edit things…. i need a website where it explains and shows professional work or at least good quality.. i appreciate the help.

I have an online business idea, but I don’t know exactly how to make a website. I know I need FTP. What else? If I have my own computer to run as a server, is it free?

A friend of mine told me that there are free to join companies that provide affiliate marketing programs with free automated websites for the marketers.Since I dont know how to make a website, I think it would be better if I could try this kind of marketing promotion to test whether a marketer really earns money. Help please. Thanks in advance.
