I’ve tried this:
http://www.techiecorner.com/95/block-ip-from-accessing-website-using-htaccess/
But I need to should i just use the IP address they used or is it just an example? If so do I need change the ip to the Ip of the person I want to block?
Recently, a keyword research program that I use began returning Google results in Chinese characters. My preferences are set to English and I have no proxy server running (so my IP address shows that I am in San Diego, CA and not Taiwan or something.)
Any ideas how to correct this? I ran a thorough virus scan last night and no viruses were found. I am running an adware scan right now. I just cannot think of any other ways to correct this.
I am the client computer and using public IP address.
Wouldn’t they have to know your IP address? Just curious, because I tried to look at my step-brothers business website and that is what is coming up, but I also tried from other computers and the same error occurred. Could the website be cancelled?
