I had the Sunday Mirror around a fortnight ago and there was a promotion in to get Setanta Sports Channel for £1 for three months. I think you had to go on the website and then put in a promotional code but my partner kindly threw away the paper. Does anyone know what the code was or where I could find it on line. Alternatively could you advise me of any other promotions. Dont really fancy paying £9.99 if its rubbish! lol

I was under the impression the legal smoking age is still 18 or 19, and the age to enter into legally binding contracts is 18, so, why must one be 21 to sign up for the Marlboro website to receive promotions?

I recently where surfing the net and discovered new classifieds entertainment site www.dodo.ie or actuallyy it is worldvide site in USA www.dodolistings.com in UK www.dodolistings.co.uk
I have seen diferent classified sites but payed attention to this one because it has so much to offer from movies to classifieds, bussiness & Website promotions.
What do you think of this site?

Okay I signed up to be a Beauty Insider on the Sephora website and I get many promotions in emails and I recently got a e-gift card from Sephora, and my birthday is coming up, so I also get the lipgloss set as a free gift in my next order, but the the nearest sephora is an hour away so I can’t really go pick up the gift, and I was thinking about giving the lipglosses as a x-mas gift or something, and so I decided to use the e-gift card but when i read rules it said I HAD to spend over + to be able to use it, so I put it off because there wasn’t any stuff I wanted at the time. So yesterday I totally forgot about the rules, I didn’t delete the email just in case I might want to splurge and use it. So I used it on an item that was less than -30, and it went through. I didn’t think about it at first but when i got my confirmation email I realized that Sephora was lieing so that people can buy more items on the website? or something like that. I mean its not a huge deal, but if I did went a head and purchase worth of stuff without knowing that I could easily use it on something less than I’d probably be a little mad.

Has anyone noticed this?

Umm Ashley, I READ the fine prints and rules it said purchase required. I thought it meant I was only able to use the gift card if I made a purchase +. I didn’t say I used the card as a payment, YOU assumed that is what I meant. I am not whining it something I was concern about, you didn’t have to be so cynical and rude about it.

I know how to code quite effectively from a cosmetic and organizational standpoint. basically just simple HTML mixed with decent photoshop and flash skills…..although php has been troublesome for me but as for now I don’t want to bother with that……

But what I’m wondering about is a few things………

– how can I get a website that allows me to upload via ftp INSTEAD of having to punch the HTML into an already built in site wizard thingy??

– how can I get a website that it’s URL looks like "www.yournamehere.com"(or .net! I don’t care as long as it’s NOT one of those stupid ones like .tk) as opposed to "http://yournamehere.geocities.com/randomness/poopy/whatever.okjjsd980qbugwiubf+/OMFG!!.php"
(neither of those links are real so don’t click on them, I can’t help it if yahoo auto URL’s everything with .com infront of it!! lol

– how much does it usually cost??
– what are the most reliable sites to do this at?
– how much does bandwidth cost (if it even costs anything)?
