I have opened up a new site called SpecialHomeProducts.com, and am now being INUNDATED with all kinds of offers from every direction regarding ways to MARKET this site…everything from selling eBooks, to reselling other’s products, to posting articles on directories and to forums! Can anyone explain what methods are scams and which are not in these areas? For instance, right now, there is a VERY Big following for one called Get Google Ads Free.com, which claims Google Adwords can be used with their "secrets" if you buy their ebook and follow their instructions, and you won’t have to pay the usual pay-per-click rate if you follow their 128 page ebook of how to do so. (You have to pay up front just to get the ebook, first, of course!)
How do we know who to trust, and who not to? And on forums…are they strictly just designed to discuss topics on the net, or can one make money using them to promote a site? Same thing with article directories…are they just for articles, or promos?

Do all those blasters/submitters (classifieds, ezine, blog, message boards, article,safelists etc) really work?
Has anyone had any good experience with them? Over the last week I was just about to buy some of them but something stopped me right before making the payment. Something that told me to do a little research about them before buying. And to my surprise most of them were scams or pieces of software that were spamming the above mentioned websites (safelists, classifieds, blogs aso)
If anyone knows any such marketing tool (blaster/submitter) that it’s returning them good results without spamming, please do share!

I’m just signed up for an affiliating marketing program. I was wondering if anyone out there has had any experience with this type of business. Is this a good business? I would like to hear the good as well as the bad. Maybe some good advice on some niches to foucus on. Any tips would be great. I have many new home decor and office decor products, as well as great gift ideas for every special occasion….just need ideas as to how to market this without it costing an arm and a leg….am working on a limited budget. The idea is to MAKE money with it, NOT SPEND every dime I have just to get it marketed and ranked on the search engines. If anyone out there has resources for excellent internet marketing, that is reputable, NOT SCAMS, and is easy to understand for the beginner, let me know! I know amazon.com has several books you can get, such as "search engine optimization for dummies", or "keywords for dummies"…may have to go with that for now, to save on my expenses…already put TOO much into this project to give up on it….getting several hits a day to the site, but still no significant sales….any help I can get out there would be greatly appreciated. debs3

I know that online marketing can be tough, but has anyone had any real luck and with what products? I don’y believe these products are so much scams as people get hooked with poor mentors.

I’m looking to make a little extra income. My wife is unemployed, I have two children and a stand-still job. If this method can bring me 0 – 0 more per month I would consider investing in affiliate marketing.
