I’m interested in getting into riding, I’ve never done it before. After I have a beginner bike for a while I’ll get something more permanent, and would probably want a custom paintjob on my bike and helmet. Are there any websites that showcase custom jobs and what people have had done?

I want to start a graphic t-shirt business and I have pictures of all of my designs in a file. My question is how can I download those pics to my personal website so that I can showcase my designs and place prices along with them. If you guys need more information feel free to ask. I’m new at this.

Thanks!!

I am an artist and I wanted to make a website to showcase and sell art and portraits etc. I just wanted to know whats the best place that will help me learn how to make a website for a beginner..Thanks

Hello!

I’m graduating from a state university with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. Our school has a career center where you can bring your resume to be critiqued, but I have a couple of concerns. I obviously can’t claim to know better than the people at the career center, but I’m concerned that their style of resume writing is different than the examples of technical resumes I’ve been finding online.

For example, I am hoping to apply for jobs in software and database development, however I don’t have any internships or relevant job experience outside of my schoolwork and hobbies. I highlighted my education and my technical skills (platforms, languages, specific applications) at the top of my resume, as well as positions I’ve held for longer than a year that showcase my management and training skills. Do I really need to include my 3 month stint as a cashier on campus or my summer job working on the school mainteinance crew when I was in high school? I volunteered as an administrator of a small online gaming server for two years, where I handled just about everything from website development to scripting and server maintenance, how would I go about including that experience as it wasn’t really a paying job?

If I were to hire a freelance webmaster to make a page for my small business, what would the average cost be?

I need to be able to sell things on-line, and it has to showcase all of my items for sale in an online "store" type environment.

I am not talking about buying pre-made templates or anything, I just need to know what a basic webpage is going for nowadays. Lets also say, its not a flash website.

A friend who has an earthlink account asked me to throw up a simple
site to showcase his home business, get it listed, and spend no money.
I succeeded, but am having trouble with the submission to search
engines. I picked up a listing in MSN, YAHOO and GOOGLE. I submitted
only the home page, not every single page. I used meta statements, but
am not sure anymore how much they are used. The text on the home page
amply describes the business and could be used in lieu of
metastatements. The ranking seems to have fallen over the last couple
of months.

I haven’t done this kind of thing for a few years, so I’m not sure
about metastatements, or if there is some cheap or free software that
will assist in the submission process.

If I was allowed to spend money, I could probably have it listed and
rank fairly well, but within the "no money" guidelines, what more can I
do to ensure his site does, if not well, at least better.

Thank You.

I’m starting an events business and I need a great website that I can design myself with the use of a template. I don’t mind paying a reasonable price for the template and service. I like photobiz.com, but I’m not a photographer. I don’t need to showcase that many pictures. Any ideas?

I have a small cake decorating business and I’m interested in expanding my business by designing a small website – mainly to showcase my work, provide basic information (prices, flavours, contact details etc) and perhaps even an online interest/order form. Can anyone suggest online website design solutions that are quick, easy and free?
