Ok, I used to use Yahoo sitebuilder to build websites. Now I use a signed up for a much cheaper hosting program but their site wizard thingy is pure crap. I don’t know html. I really want to build the sites using Y sitebuilder and host them over at the other place instead of yahoo. Is there a way to do this without paying yahoo for everysite?

I have limited resources to create a website directory in my area. I am using a sitebuilder from Homestead.com. It is HTML based.

I know I have many hurdles to overcome whether it is HTML based or not. My first goal is to list over 700 local businesses to my website. If it is successful, will my directory be stable enough to handle growing traffic and offer local goods and services from businesses with small inventories like florists, gift shops, etc. until I am able to generate income to have a professional web designer do it for me? What are the positives and negatives with HTML when it comes to creating websites, maintenance, cost, etc.? My website can be found on SeeMeOn.com.

Thank you for your input.

I have made website in Yahoo sitebuilder but being outside of US I cannot publish website in Yahoo Merchant Solution.

I tried to upload file to another hosting company but the below message appears in every page :

1) "This file is not intended to be viewed directly using a web browser. To create a viewable file, use the Preview in Browser or Publish to Yahoo! Web Hosting commands from within Yahoo! SiteBuilder"

How to remove this comment ??

2) The "buy now" button (paypal) is not visible, it asks to publish the site first.

Please advise how to publish to other hosting company?

Appreciate your reply at earliest

I want to get a domain/website for my small business. I am not good at web design at all, so I will need something to basically do it for me? Any tips? Yahoo, Lycos sitebuilder?

I want to build a website for a small business. What is the best sitebuilder to use? I tried Yahoo but it seems their designs, etc are not that great…what about register.com, tripod, etc. Any suggestions?
