Actually I am a teacher of English languagel, based in Alex, Egypt, and I am an Arabic<>English translator for more then 12 years. However, I used to normal paper translation or even normal translation on computer…but nowadays I can see the increasing demand of certain translation software usage like SDLX and TRADOS. Therefore I am seeking your advice and help if you could direct me to a place in Egypt, or on line, that could give me training courses in these very software programs and others for subtitling and interpretation if it is applicable.
Thanks for your time and consideration.

For instance, I have a home-based business that I am trying to market. I offer business support services (i.e. word processing, spreadsheets, filing, presentations) and computer training services (software programs) to businesses. Say for instance a company has been in business for two years, needs help getting their office organized or needs an Office Assistant in general, but doesn’t have the working capital or funds available to pay someone.

I will have them fill out my credit application and require them to provide three trade references. I will contact those trade references to verify their payment history. If they have a satisfactory payment history, I will set them up on an installment billing program. It’s kind of like a credit card but they’ll pay the balance out over a period of say three or four months — depending on the total balance.
The only potential problem that I see is they may not pay. But then again there are companies who would love this type of opportunity and are willing to pay. I am thinking I can increase my client base by doing this.

What do you think?
I only have one client so far, but I did this for a year before I moved here. What I always did was go pick up the projects, or have them ship the to me via UPS or FEX or even regular mail. I do all the work from my home/office, but in some instances I can work from their office.
Let me clarify – when I say I’ve done this before I mean I ran this same exact business out of my home in another state, but didn’t offer installment billing.

I want to get certificates saying that I am trained properly in certain software programs on a computer. I want to take the courses/test online, and be mailed a certificate saying that I am trained. Where can I take these courses!? Help please :)
Thanks in advance!

where can you find more information and whats the best way to get started. Ive trained for 7 years for a top-notched school and am certified in many software programs. Id like to start teaching freelance to gain freedom and flexibility.

I’ve owned a computer for the last 5 years, and I know how to do basic things just to get by, but in terms of general hardware and software know-how, I need major help!!!! Do you have any suggestions on where I can get some advice/training on computer fundamentals…hardware info that is not difficult to understand- hopefully in a visual format or with a live instructor…and eventually more advanced software programs?
Any input would be greatly appreciated!

The software courses would be: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Also, this question only applies to those who use these software programs as part of their job.

a) Only if they employer was paying out of pocket or agreed to reimburse me.

b) Yes. I’d be glad to take advantage of an opportunity like this.

c) No. Why in the world would I want to get computer training?

a) I would take a computer training class if my employer offered them at no cost to me.

b) I would take a computer training class if I could find one that was affordable.

c) I don’t feel that I need computer training.

I think Im going to do Seo for my site myself. I have seen different software programs online to assist in this. I would like recommendations on the best software people have ha experience with. I am inexperienced with this and need software that can submit articles etc

I told my cousin I would make her a website for her company.

I do not want to make some crappy geocities one, but a good one.

Do I need any software/programs to do this?

I see these software programs that are "email millions". I guess you only make 1 email and it goes out to everyone (3 million per day), 70 Million per month. Are their any software programs that do this free (freeware). Please let me know. Or has anyone ever done this type of marketing before? Please let me know. Thanks
