How can I learn more about financial derivatives?

I’m 17 and am really interested in trading ( like the stock market). I stumbled upon two people having a conversation about financial derivatives and am curious as to what they are and how they work. Does anyone have any good books, articles, or anything outside of a textbook that could help me understand derivatives and the derivative market.
