Or at least near the top. I have read some great articles about search engine optimization but Ive received mixed information. Im sure each search engine is different, so lets use YAHOO.

Ive read that meta tags (keywords) aren’t looked at anymore. Other places Ive read that having a certain keyword density will push you towards the top.
I understand it would vary based on keywords you use also (like certain keywords are more popular than others, making it more difficult to compete with other sites that use those same keywords).
I also am aware that there are people out there who you can pay to do this seach engine optimization for you, but I really want to do it myself (because this is a service I would like to offer others in the future).

(note: I havent "turned my site in to yahoo’s search engine" yet. I am just trying to work this out before I do)

So what does it take to get towards the top in YAHOO’s search? Is it the meta tags? The keyword density? Something else?
Oh yeah, I’ve also read that it takes like 6 months (once you’ve submitted your site to a search engine) to show up in search results. How much truth is there to that? (Probably varies by search engine, but as much info as possible would be helpful). Thank you!

I have read the book several times and done SOME (keyword some) research on its points and it seems very convincing. Can anyone refute or prove its points anymore to me? I desperately want to know.

please no stupid point grabbing answers like "THEY LIED GOD DOESN’T EXIST!" stuff cause thats a waste of people’s time.

I have read "Read Richard Dawkin’s "The God Delusion." It doesn’t answer my questions I’m fairly un-impressed with his points in comparison.
Scientist you make good counter arguments but I’ve heard them before and they are countered in the book. not to discredit your comments but I think I’m looking for someone who has read the book. Also the main difference in micro versus macro evolution and the Cambrian explosion at least according to what I’ve read is that the whole "walking to the kitchen and walking across the country) A) the Cambrian explosion in terms of evolutionary theory would be walking across the U.S. in 10 minutes and (B) Macro and Micro a clearly defined separately in the scientific community. Micro has been observed where no case of Macro has. Can you see where I’m struggling with things? I’m trying to figure out how I can believe evolution over this creation when they are both theories that seem to be un observed.
I used to think that all science and smart people would be evolutionary and all other theories are feeble, but It seems like they both have tremendous truth.

I am not a person to just "leave things alone"… But I have this ex-boyfriend which we were super serious. But we both split and got married and have kids. He has contacted me in the past and I have contacted him… We tried to be friends but he claims that he is too hurt by our past that he can’t just be my friend. She is so fake and probably will never amount to anything in life, yet she wants to trash me??? I have been through hell with her so called husband, he has no idea what I went through and now thats its been 10 years later she wants to trash talk me…I am 1400 miles away and me commenting on a picture he posted on the internet, is not my fault you posted it!! But of course the investigators looked into the education portion and had no records for me. So he came down and during the interview he asked about it and i told him the truth, that i just bought it from a website that allows you to pick any school you want. Do you think this will hinder my clearance?

Since I do video editing on my computer, I’ve been told to stay away from cameras with hard drive storage and just consider ones with tape. Any truth to that? Why? Any suggestions on cameras?
