what is the best baby sound/video monitor in the market today?
Would i really need a video monitor for my baby? Our bedrooms are on the second floor, and I do most household chores on the first floor. Would the sound monitor be sufficient?

We got the "Day and Night Handheld Color Video Monitor" made by Summer Infant Products from Babies R Us for about $170. We have 3 floors, and the recpetion is great. It also has the IR light so you can see your baby at night from anywhere else (as well as hear him/her).
I recommend it!
i’ve been in a 2 story house with 3 out of 5 babies and have never needed a monitor at all. you will definitely be able to hear them when they are crying! if you really feel you need a monitor, i wouldn’t waste the money on a video, just get the audio. you will go running anyway when you hear them cry.
