What would be a good business to open up in Puerto Rico?
I’m considering moving to Puerto Rico but I know it’s very different from the States. The TYPICAL businesses may not be so good to open on an Island. So what would be a good business to open if I move there? (right now I am a computer software trainer….but are training classes a big thing there?)

I would think going into food service industry, specifically, fast food. Krispy cream opened last year and on their first month they got their investment back and then some. And theres only one store. Popeye’s can be counted in one hand also. Also, anything that sells alcohol will bring you some profit as well.
As far as computer industry, I wouldnt recommend it. There are quite a few places to "fix" them (e.g. steal your good parts and replace them with crappy ones) and training clases could be a dead end since Pell Grant actually covers the whole tuition (in most cases) for univ. college or/and tech school.
I always thought a Rita’s would be great here.
Puerto Rico is a major hub of caribbean and is the leader in commerce, finance, tourism, communications, pharmaceuticals, computers, etc. within this region. Without a doubt anyone with a good bilingual language and the strong computer skills can do very good here.
