When building a website w Adobe Illustrator CS3, Fireworks CS3, or Photoshop CS3, what resolution should I use?

I have been using Adobe Illustrator CS3, Fireworks CS3, or Photoshop CS3 to build websites. When I start a new document it has an option to select your resolution. What it the best resolution to use for building a website?

probably something like 72 dpi, seems to be the standard web resolution. I’d keep it low so people with slow connections don’t get too bored.
