Where can I find information on building a transformer to operate at a certain frequency?
I am in the process of trying to build or find a transformer that can operatesomewhere in the 1Khz to 10Khz range?
Are there any good books or websites out there that cover this type of stuff?

This is basic engineering. This range is adequately covered by audio transformers. These frequencies don’t need special materials like ferrites.
Hammond Manufacturing produces many transformers, including those in the audio range.
